Our hall club ran a ski trip! We were denied our original date because the bus didn't get chartered soon enough, but we bounced back. Only 1 person got injured, so I count this as a win!

| Another hugely successful hall club event, our welcome back party! (also got rescheduled lol). We had food, a gingerbread decorating contest, and a white elephant (we provided presents so everyone got something good). |

| New corporate partner: The Wikimedia foundation. 5 total students, feels small compared to Ingenii. Working to improve the content quality by finding external data mismatches with Python. |

| Hall club voted to oust hall club media director for poor attendance, elected me instead. Above is a flyer I designed! |

Boilermake Hackathon
My team after Boilermake, a 36hr hackathon (event where you code or make something). We made a convenient meeting availability polling app with image recognition.
- team members: Seth from delivery drones and a roommate pair he knows
- learned how to spell "availability" because I ended up writing it 100+ times! (Was previously spelling it avalibility)

Global Game Jam
The next weekend, I participated in a 48hr game jam (make a game in a short time with the theme, "make me laugh") with a person from the first jam I did & 3 others. We designed a game where you needed to keep a baby happy by running around & completing tasks.

In other news...
- Exceptionally crowded on first day of semester
- All my classes seem like they'll be good vibes, except for computer architecture. The lecturer isn't a good public speaker
- Applied to be a tour guide, got a group interview, but wasn't selected :(
- Advanced to the next stage of RA (resident assistant) application! Group & individual interviews happening THIS WEEKEND!
