Hello $name! I hope you had a pretty good Valentine's day! I certainly enjoyed becoming a Valentine's Day clown at Juggling club! As always, I'd love to hear about the โจ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐๐๐ถ๐๐พ๐๐ถ๐๐โจ you've been up to too!

Ethan's College Shenanigans: March 2024
Hello $name! March has been the calm before the storm: learning new content in preparation for my six exams next month! Pictured is me getting inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary, which recognizes the top 1% of student hall leaders! As always, I'd love to hear whatโจ๐๐๐๐ป๐๐๐๐๐๐โจ you've been up to!

Our hall club revitalized a McCutcheon tradition, Scotia Fantasia, a Scottish-themed formal. Attendance was hampered by a basketball game, but we're all proud of pulling it off nonetheless! |

Over spring break, I helped with Natalie's Eagle Scout project! I was the only person 16+ who could use a drill because of BOGUS rules. We had to get creative in delegating tasks to minimize downtime.

Ran McCutcheon Hall basketball tournament. Got off to a shaky start as I don't know the first thing about basketball (Sports fanatics will cite this for why I should watch a Purdue game). For this, programmed a team-matcher that no one used ๐ข (this should teach me to conduct market analysis first) |

Attended my first drag show in celebration of trans visibility day! The atmosphere was incredibly hype and the costumes were amazing! My favorite was a clown on stilts for obvious reasons |

Branded my spring break nights as "Ethan's do-it-a-thon". Got a lot done: plan test credits, summer classes, organized technology junk drawer, attempted Roth IRA ๐ญ, and accidentally woke family playing Just Dance at 2am ๐คญ |
In other news...
- Hall club treasurer dropped out, which was upsetting considering we had $14k late and needing to be paid (ALMOST WENT TO COLLECTIONS, NOT CLICKBAIT)
- Did not get RA position ๐ซค although I'm not feeling too bad because other freshmen I talked to also didn't get the position or got waitlisted, which means you'll likely get a non-air conditioned hall. Also proud of the fact that my application had to score a 95% on their rubric to even get an interview
- Discovered the joys of automated code testing. Made my assignment slightly less painful!
- Visited University of Wisconsin-Madison to share my college insight for Natalie. IMO the tour was poorly done (repeated info from presentation and did not explain buildings as we walked) and the city was too car-centric
- Attended and helped tear down RHA "happy birthday to you" event, celebrating birthdays that occur when school is out of session. Chatted with fellow hall leaders and ate way too much candy
- As always, here are extra pictures
